Data Protector Reporting

If no optional input parameters (optional selections) are specified when configuring a report, a default value is set, which is <all> in case of objects and <no time limit> in case of time frames.

To configure a report or report group, you need to provide the following information:

•name of the report

•type of report

•send method

•recipient(s)

•format

All other input parameters (selections) depend on the type of the report.

Report Formats	Output of the reports is provided in various formats and optionally
	displays input parameters (selections), too. Refer to “Report Formats” on
	page 329.
Report Send	Reports can be sent using various methods. Refer to “Report Send
Methods	Methods” on page 331.
