Ethernet Connector

The system board in			your Netfinity 5000 server containtrollers an. TheEthernet
controller	has an	external		RJ-45	connector on	the	rear of the		server
with a category 3,			4,	or 5 twisted-pair cable. The				connector	enable
network to	attach	to the		internal	transceiver	in	your	server.

Note: The 100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet standard requires that the cabling in network be Category 5 or higher.

Table 10 shows the pin-number assignments for the RJ-45 connector. These assignments apply to both 10BASE-T and 100-BASETX devices.
