Power Supply Module

The power supply module (Figure 3–2) provides power to the carrier, to each telephone, and to most adjuncts (some adjuncts, such as fax machines, come with their own power supplies and do not rely on the system). Each carrier requires its own power supply module, installed in the carrier’s leftmost slot.

In some systems, you need extra power supplies to support your system

components as described in ‘Power-Related Hardware’’ on page 3-45.
