3.2.7.1.1 Procedure To Connect To An MDF

1Connect the Telco-50 connector end of the cable to the Telco-50 connector.

2Connect the USER wiring on the other end of the Telco-50 cable to the upper ports of the MDF using a punch-down tool.

3Connect the telephone wiring from each end-user's DSL modem to the lower ports of the MDF.

3.2.7.2Installation Scenario B

Phone service is available. There is one MDF from which end-users CO connections are made (see next figure).
