NOTE:

The preferred network interface is the RJ48X. With the RJ48X interface, if no connection is provided by the customer’s equipment, the T1 trunk’s receive pair is looped back to the transmit pair. This simplifies troubleshooting the T1 trunk.

In most installations, the network interface is connected through a cross- connect field to the control unit. However, for systems with fewer than 24 stations, the trunk wires can be directly connected to the control unit.

When constructing wiring fields between the network interface and the control unit, you must order hardware as individual parts. Do not use Interconnect Wiring or SYSTIMAX kits.
