CHAPTER 3 INSTALLATION

3) Using the fixing screw [1] removed from the dummy drum previously, se-

cure the dump unit [2] in place.[1] [2]

4) Fill out the date label, and attach it to the front cover of the drum unit.

5)Turn the developing assembly locking lever clockwise to lock the developing assembly in place.

6)Shift up the feeding releasing lever to lock the feeding assembly in place.

Do not turn on the main power switch while the feeding assem- bly remains released; otherwise, the fixing assembly will be damaged.

7) Close the front cover.
