Increasing Performance on VMWare ESXi Configurations
The VM is now configured for the Cisco CSR 1000V and is ready to boot. The Cisco CSR 1000V is booted when the VM is powered on. See the “Booting the Cisco CSR 1000V and Accessing the Console” section on page
Note To access and configure the Cisco CSR 1000V from the serial port on the ESXi host instead of the VM console, provision the VM to use this setting before powering on the VM and booting the router. For more information, see the “Booting the Cisco CSR 1000V and Accessing the Console” section on page
Increasing Performance on VMWare ESXi Configurations
You can improve performance on VMware ESXi configurations by performing the following:
•Disable VMware ESXi power management.
Choose the High Performance setting to disable power management in VMware ESXi 5.0, 5.1 or 5.5. For more information, see the VMware Documentation.
