Send a Fax and Save the Number

This feature allows you program (save) a number into your fax machine at the same time you are using the number to send a fax. This feature will locate the first available One- Touch key (or Auto Dial number, if all the One-Touch keys are programmed) for you to program.

Procedure

1Load the document.

2Enter the fax number using the numerical keypad.

3Press the Copy key. The display shows ONE-TOUCH NO.[xx].

The number in brackets [xx] is the next unprogrammed One-Touch key number.

If all the One-Touch keys are programmed, the display shows AUTO DIAL NO.[xx], with the number of the next unprogrammed Auto Dial number shown in brackets [xx].

4Press Yes ◀ to program the location to the number shown or

press Search to cycle through the available unprogrammed keys/numbers,

then press Yes ◀ to program to the number you want. Press No ▶ to stop the process.
