Auto Dial Faxing

Programming Auto Dial Numbers

For each Auto Dial number, you can enter a fax number up to 40 digits long and a Location ID (name) up to 15 characters long.

To program Auto Dial numbers:

1Press the Select Function key.

2Press the 8/Location Program One-Touch key. The display shows

LOCATION PROGRAMMING.

3Press the Auto Dial key.

4Using the numeric keypad, enter a 2-digit or 3-Digit number for the Auto Dial number you want to program.

Up to 150 Auto Dial numbers can be programmed.

5The display briefly shows

NO=<FAX NO.>,

ID=<LOCATION ID>

or a previously programmed fax number and location.

6After the display clears, enter the fax number. Refer to the instructions below.

To enter numbers, use the numeric keypad (press once)

To enter spaces, press the 19/Space One-Touch key

To enter hyphens (-), press the Hyphen key

To enter pauses (i.e., to wait for long distance or outside lines), press the 20/Pause One-Touch key

To add a switch from pulse to tone dialing for part of the call, press the */Tone key

To move the cursor to make corrections, press the Yes

and No keys

7Press the Start key to register the number.
