If the USB port is not disabled, then the USB menu displays information on all USB devices attached, even if the device is locked. An unsupported device is enumerated if it is attached to the IP Deskphone. To ensure you know about the USB lock status, the USB device information is followed by status information about supported USB devices. If the USB configurations do not match the USB device status because of the restart requirement, a warning that the USB Update requires reboot appears on the screen.

Figure 53 on page 320 displays a sample USB information menu with the USB port enabled and selected device locked:
