WARNING: TheNexPath Telephony Server can be programmedto allow users, if the feature is enabled by

the system administrator and a valid password is entered, to listen in to conversations without the partici-

pants knowledge. Listening in to a conversationwithout the consent of one or both parties may be a viola-

tion of local, state, and federal privacy laws. It is the responsibility of the user of the NexPath Telephony

Server, when using featuresof the system, to assure that he or she is in compliancewith all applicable laws.

WARNING: TheNexPath Telephony Server includes a LAN based protocol, NexPath Simple Computer

TelephonyP rotocol(N-SCTP), that allows the system to be programmed to function as an Automatic Dial

and Announce Device (ADAD). ADADs orsimilar devices that are used for commercial solicitation, or used

without the consent of the called party, are prohibited by many local, state, and federal laws. It is the

responsibility of the user of the NexPath Telephony Server, when using features of the system, to assure that

he or she is in compliance with all applicable laws.
