Typographic	Meaning
Element
Boldface	May indicate either of the following:
	• A user interface element that you need to click, select, or
	otherwise act on
	• A literal value to be entered in a field.
Italic	May indicate either of the following:
	• A variable that should be replaced with a literal value.
	• The name of a page, section, or field in the user interface
Monospaced	Indicates code samples or system output.
