Ping Example using DHCP

An easy way to determine if the LS8000-3 network connection is working is to send a ping. This can be done from any PC connected to the network.

Use LaserTrak to set the following settings, then cycle the LS8000-3 power.

DHCP Enabled

Host Name = "LS9000-TEST" (or a name of your choosing)

1	Start Run	2	Type "cmd" and	3	At the command prompt, type:
			click OK		"ping ls9000-test"
