Focusing manually Mise au point manuelle

You can gain better results by manually adjusting the focus in the following cases:

•The autofocus mode is not effective when shooting:

–Subjects through glass covered with water droplets.

–Horizontal stripes.

–Subjects with little contrast with backgrounds such as walls or the sky.

•When you want to change the focus from a subject in the foreground to a subject in the background.

•Shooting a stationary subject when using a tripod.

Normally, focus is automatically adjusted.

(1) In CAMERA or MEMORY mode, press FOCUS.* The 9 indicator appears on the screen.

(2) Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to sharpen focus.

Dans les situations suivantes, vous pouvez obtenir de meilleurs résultats en réglant manuellement la mise au point :

•Le mode autofocus n’est pas actif pendant la prise de vues :

–De sujets se trouvant derrière une vitre couverte de gouttelettes.

–De rayures horizontales.

–De sujets offrant peu de contraste par rapport

à l’arrière plan (mur, ciel, etc.).

•Lorsque vous souhaitez modifier la mise au point réglée sur un sujet au premier plan pour la régler sur un sujet situé à l’arrière plan.

•Lorsque vous filmez un sujet stationnaire à l’aide d’un pied photographique.

Normalement, le réglage de la mise au point s’effectue automatiquement.

(1) En mode CAMERA ou MEMORY, appuyez sur FOCUS.* L’indicateur 9 s’affiche à l’écran.

(2) Tournez la molette SEL/PUSH EXEC pour affiner la mise au point.
