When you have finished dubbing a tape

Press x on both your camcorder and the VCR.

Notes

•To enable smooth transition, we recommend that you do not mix pictures recorded in the

Hi8 /standard 8 mm with the Digital8 system on a tape.

•If you do fast-forward or slow-playback on the other equipment, the image being recorded may fluctuate. When recording from other equipment, be sure to play back the original tape at normal speed.

If your VCR or TV is a monaural type Connect the yellow plug of the A/V connecting cable to the video output jack and the white or the red plug to the audio output jack on the VCR or the TV. When the white plug is connected, the left channel audio is output, and when the red plug is connected, the right channel audio is output.

If your TV or VCR has an S video jack Pictures can be reproduced more faithfully by using an S video cable (optional).

With this connection, you do not need to connect the yellow (video) plug of the A/V connecting cable.

Connect an S video cable (optional) to the S video jacks of both your camcorder and the TV or VCR.

Appuyez sur x à la fois sur votre caméscope et sur votre magnétoscope.

Remarques
•Pour exécuter une transition régulière, nous
vous recommandons de ne pas mélanger les
images enregistrées sur une cassette avec le
système Hi8	/8 mm standard et avec le
Digital8 .
•Si vous effectuez une avance rapide ou une
lecture au ralenti sur l’autre appareil, l’image
en cours d’enregistrement peut être instable. En
cas d’enregistrement à partir d’un autre		Editing
appareil, veillez à lire la cassette d’origine à
vitesse normale.
Si votre magnétoscope ou votre téléviseur est		Montage
audio et vidéo à la prise de sortie vidéo et la fiche

de type mono

Raccordez la fiche jaune du cordon de liaison

blanche ou la fiche rouge à la prise de sortie audio du magnétoscope ou du téléviseur. Lorsque la fiche blanche est branchée, le signal sonore est émis par le canal de gauche. Lorsque la fiche rouge est branchée, le signal sonore est émis par le canal de droite.

Si votre magnétoscope ou votre téléviseur dispose d’une prise S-vidéo

Les images peuvent être reproduites avec plus de fidélité à l’aide du câble S-vidéo (en option). Avec ce branchement, vous n’avez pas besoin de brancher la prise jaune (vidéo) du cordon de liaison audio et vidéo.

Branchez un câble S-vidéo (en option) sur les prises S-vidéo de votre caméscope et du magnétoscope ou du téléviseur.
