Introduction

The Sun Fire B1600 blade system chassis includes two (Switch and System Controller (SSC) modules. The SSC includes a high-performance Gigabit Ethernet switch. The

16internal full-duplex Gigabit ports on this switch provide high-capacity connectivity within the chassis, while the eight external full-duplex Gigabit ports connect to the wider network.
