Tkst Sequencing

Test sequencing allows you to automate repetitive tasks. As you make a measurement, the analyzer memorizes the keystrokes. Later you can repeat the entire sequence by pressing a single key. Because the sequence is defined with normal measurement keystrokes, you do not need additional programming expertise. Subroutines and limited decision-making increases the flexibility of test sequences. In addition, the GPIO outputs can be controlled in a test sequence, and the GPIO inputs can be tested in a sequence for conditional branching. For in-depth sequencing information, refer to “Test Sequencing” in Chapter 6, “Application and Operation Concepts. n

The test sequence function allows you to create, title, save, and execute up to six independent sequences internally.

You can also save sequences to disk and transfer them between the analyzer and an external computer controller.

The following procedures, which are based on an actual measurement example, show you how to do the following:

ncreate a sequence

ntitle a sequence

w edit a sequence

nclear a sequence

w change a sequence title

w name files generated by a sequence

nstore a sequence w load a sequence

npurge a sequence

nprint a sequence

There are also three example sequences:

ncascading multiple sequences

nloop counter sequence

nlimit test sequence
