Changing the Sequence Title

If you are storing sequences on a disk, you should replace the default titles (SEQl, SEQ2 . . . ).

1. To select a sequence that you want to retitle, press:

The analyzer shows the available title characters. The current title is displayed in the upper-left corner of the screen.

2.You can create a new filename in two ways:

n If you have an attached DIN keyboard, you can press @J and then type the new lilename.

. If you do not have an attached DIN keyboard, press ~~~~~_ and turn the front

The analyzer cannot accept a title (llle name) that is longer than eight characters. Your titles must also begin with a letter, and contain only letters and numbers.

3. lb complete the titling, press %@@.

Naming Files Generated by a Sequence

The analyzer can automatically increment the name of a gle that is generated by a sequence using a loop structure. (See example “Generating Piles in a Loop Counter Example Sequence” later in this chapter.)

To access the sequence lilename menu, press:

This menu presents two choices:

This also brings up the Title Pile Menu.

The above keys show the current filename in the 2nd line of the softkey.

When titling a llle for use in a loop function, you are restricted to only 2 characters in the lllename due to the 6 character length of the loop counter keyword y [LOOP]. n When the tie is actually written, the [LCCP] keyword is expanded to only 5 ASCII characters (digits), resulting in a 7 character lllename.

After entering the 2 character fllename, press:
