Operator Panel Menus

Job Buffering Off*

This menuitem only displays if you are using standard USB and have a hard disk option

card installed.

Job bufferinglets you delay processing of a print job. The job is temporarily stored on a

hard disk option beforebeing printed, usually freeing the host computer while the job

prints.

TheJob Buffering menu item only displays if the installed hard disk option is formatted and

not

defective,Read/Write or Write protected, and if Job Buffer Size is

not

sett o

displaywhen the printer is tur ned on, or during disk format and write operations.See

IfJob Buffering is set to On, pri nt jobs are bufferedto the hard disk option. If Job Buffering

is set to Off,print jobs are not buffered.

Note: Changingthe Job Buffering setting automatically resets the pr inter.
