Chapter 3: Using the Operator Panel and Menus
Select Press the Select button to:
•Selectthe menu shown on the second line of the display. Depending on the type of menu, this
action:
- Opens the menuand displays the first item in the menu.
- Opens the menuitem a nd displaysthe default setting.
•Savethe displayed menu item as the new default setting. The printer displays the Saved
messagebr iefly and returns to the menu item.
•Clear certain messages from the operator panel display.
•Continuepr inting after the Change<input source> message displays. See Change <input
source>on page 167 for more information.
Return Press the Return buttonto retur n to the previousmenu level or menu item.
Stop Press the Stop buttonat the Ready,Busy,orWaitingmessage to temporarily stop all activity
andtake the printer offline. The operator panel status message changes to Not Ready.Nodata
is lost.
PressGo to retur n the printer to the Ready,Busy,orWaiting state.

Identification Number (PIN) after yousend a Confidential Job. For more information, see
