Operator Panel Menus
Utilities MenuUse the UTILITIES MENU to print a variety of listings
relatingto available printer resources, printer settings, and
print jobs. Additional menu items let you set up printer
hardware and troubles hoot printer problem s.

MenuItem Values
Print Menus PressSelect to pr int the menu settingsp age.
Them enusettings page is a list of the user defaultsettings, the installed options, and the
amount of availableprinter memory. This list also shows you the order of menu items.
Note: The menusettings page must be printed on letter-, legal-, or A4-size paper.
Print Net1 Setup PressSelect to print the internal print server settings page.
Thei nternal print server settings page contains information on your network setup and the
printer settings foryour network as defined by the Network 1 Setup menu item in the
NETWORKMENU.See“Network 1 Setup”on page 92 formore information.
Note: PrintNet1 Setup displaysonly if an internal pr int server is installed in your printer.
Print Fonts PCLFonts
PS Fonts
Press Select to print a fontsample list that shows all the fonts currently available in the
selectedprinter l anguage,PCL Fonts or PS Fonts. For more information, see “PrintingaFont
SampleList ”on page 242.
Print Directory PressSelect to print a list of all the resources stored in flash memory or on the hard disk
option.
The PrintDirectory menuitem is available only if at least one of the options is installed and
formatted.Refer to the
TechnicalReference
for details.

DoNot Restore
Ifyou choose Restore:
•Alld ownloadedresources (fonts, macros, symbol sets) in printer memory (RAM) are
deleted.( Resourcesr esiding inflash memor y or on the hard disk option are unaffected.)
•Allm enusettings are retur ned to the factory defaultvalues except:
–DisplayLanguage (SETUP MENU) which is the operator panel display language.
–Allsettings inthe PARALLELMENU, SERIAL MENU, NETWORK MENU, INFRARED
MENU,LOCALTALK MENU,USB MENU, and FAX MENU.
Themessage Restoring Factory Defaults briefly appears while the printer restores the factory
defaultsettings. See Restoring Factory Defaults on page 157 for more information.
