Use the PCL EMUL MENUto change printer settings that

only affectjobs printed using the PCL emulation printer

language.

The FontSource setting deter mines which fontsappear in the Font Name menu.
Ifa fontsource is not installed or does not contain any fonts, it is not listed as a value. Fonts
arel oaded and stored on the flash memory option.

FontName Fontposition and font name for all fonts in the selected font source (displays on both lines of
the operatorpanel)

After youselect a font source, choose the specific font from the Font Name menu item. The
printer displaysthe font source abbreviation, font ID, and font name for each font. The font
source abbreviationis Rfor resident, Ffor f lash, Kfor disk, a nd Dfordownload.
Note: Alwaysselect the correct Font Source before you select the Font Name.

Point siz e

refersto the height of the characters in the font. One point equals approximately
1/72of an inch.
Ifyou chose a scalable typographic font, you can select the point size for the font. Youcan
selectpoint s izesfrom 1 to 1008 in increments of 0.25 points.See “Pitch and Point Size”on
