Thewarranty period is 12 months and starts on the date of original purchase as shown

Toobtain warranty service you may be required to present proofof original purchase.
Warrantyservice will be provided at your location.at a Remarketer or a Lexmark desig-
natedlocation. You may be required to deliver your productto the Remarketer or Lex-
mark,or ship it prepaid and suitably packaged to a Lexmark designated location. You
areresponsible for loss of, or damage to, a product in transit to the Remarketer or the
designatedlocation.at a Lexmark designated location.

altered,in need of a repair not included in warranty service, or damaged beyond repair.
Also,suchproductmustbefreeofanylegalobligationorrestrictionsthatpreventits
exchange.

Extent of Warranty
Wedo not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of a product.
Warrantyservice does not include repair of failures caused by:
•modificationor attachments
•accidentsor misuse
•unsuitablephysical or operating environment
•maintenanceby anyone other than Lexmark or a Lexmark authorized servicer
•operationof a product beyond the limit of its duty cycle
•failureto have installed a maintenance kit as specified (if applicable)
•useof printing media outside of Lexmark specifications
•useof other than Lexmark supplies (such as toner cartridges, inkjet cartridges,
andribbons)
•useof other than Lexmark product or component
ALLEXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WAR-
RANTIESOF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PUR-
POSE,ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE WARRANTY PERIOD. NO
WARRANTIES,EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WILL APPLY AFTER THIS PERIOD.
