Materials
This chapter providesspecifications and guidelines for
each type of print material that can be used with your
printer,as well as important information about the paper
sourcesand the output bins.
Yourprinter has two standard paper sources, the
250-sheetinput tray and the multipurpose feeder, and two
output bins, providinghigh quality printing on a variety
of print materials fromdifferent paper sources.
Load the print material you use for the majority of your
print jobs in the 250-sheet input tray.
Reserve the multipurpose feeder for when you print on
differentsizes and types of print material, such as card
stock, transparencies,postcards, note cards, and enve-
lopes. Youmay also want to use the multipurpose feeder
forsinglepageprintjobsonletterhead,orotherspecial
print material you do not keep in an input tray.
