Printing on
Letterhead Check with the manufactureror vendor to determine
whether the preprintedletterhead you have chosen is
acceptable for laser printers.
Pageorientation is important when printing on letterhead.
Use the following table for help when loading letterhead
in the paper sources.
Tray L inking Ifyou are using the same size and type of print material in
all paper sources(input trays and the multipurpose
feeder) and the PAPE R MENU settings for the sources are
the same, the automatic tray linking featureis enabled.
Forexample,ifyouhavethesamesizeandtypeprint
material loaded in the standard250-sheet tray and the
optional 500-sheet drawer,the printer will select print
material fromone tray when the other becomes empty.
If you load the same size print materialin e ach tray,make
surethe print material is all the same type. If you use dif-
ferentprint material in the trays, each source with a differ-
ent print material must have the PAPERTYPE set to a
uniquevalue to disable the automatic traylinking feature.
