Warning Messages
Warningmessages give further information about printer
status. The following is an example of a warning message
displayed on the operator panel when the printer is in the
Ready state:
In this example, Tray 1 Mi ssing is the warning message.
The following table lists messages that appear on the sec-
ond line of the operator panel display.If none of the fol-
lowing conditions exist, line 2 of the operator panel
display is blank.

Fax 1 Thepr inter is processing a faxthrough the optional interface.
Infrared1 Theoptional infrared interface is the active communication link.
LocalTalk1 Theoptional LocalTalk interface is the active communication link.

Parallel Thestandard parallel interface is the active communication link.
Parallel1 The optional parallel interface is the active communication link.
Serial1 Theoptional ser ial interfaceis the active communication link.
Tray1Missing The250-sheet input tray is missing.
