Installing an Option Card

3Remove the metal plate covering the connector

slot.

aLocatethe two screws on the back of the printer

that attach the metal plate to the slot.

bRemove and save the two screws. Remove and

discard the plate.

4Unpack the option card.

Save the packing materials.

5Align the connector on the option card with the

connector on the system board.

The cable connectors on the side of the option card

must fit throughthe opening in the faceplate.

6Push the option card firmly into the option card

connector on the system board.
