Installing the Optional Drawer

Optional500-SheetDrawer

Decideon a location to set the support unit. The printer will

be placed on top of it, so allow enough space for easy paper

access.Thelocationmustbesturdyandlargeenoughto

accommodate the printer and the optional 500-sheet

drawer.

Installing the

Optional Drawer The optional drawer consists of a support unit and an

input tray.To install the optional 500-sheet drawer:

1Turnthe printer power Off (O).

2Unplug the printer power cord.

3Disconnect all cables from the back of the printer.

Caution! Toavoid electrical

shock hazards,make sure your

computer power isO ff (O)and

unplug all computer equipment

beforeconnecting cables.

4Remove the support unit from its packaging.

Remove any packing tape.
