Print Quality Problems
Streaks appearon the page. The toner maybe low. Remove the cartridge. To utilize the remaining toner,
shakethe car tridge gently.Reinstall the same print cartr idge.See Installing
thePrint Cartridgeon page 5 for directions.
If youare using preprinted forms, make sure the ink can withstand
temperaturesof 200°C(392°F).

Printing is too dark. Change the TonerDarkness setting in the QUALITY MENU.SeeToner

Note: Macintosh usersshould make sure the lines per inch (lpi) setting is not
settoo high in the software application.
Charactershave jagged or uneven
edges. Changethe Print Resolution settingin the QUALITY MENU to 600dpi.See

If youare using downloaded fonts, verify that the fonts are supported by the
printer,the host computer, and the software application.
