-ha

(Set Delete HBA Alias)

With this command you can view, set or delete the alias of a specific HBA. To view the alias of a specified HBA, type:

#scli -ha (<HBA Instance> <HBA WWPN>) view ?

To set an alias for a specified HBA, type:

#scli -ha (<HBA Instance> <HBA WWPN>) <Alias>

To delete an alias of a specified HBA, type:

#scli -ha (<HBA Instance> <HBA WWPN>) delete

Where:

HBA Instance = HBA number (use -gcommand to find)

HBA WWPN = World wide port name of the HBA

Alias = Symbolic HBA name. (100 characters, maximum)

To set an alias for the selected HBA:

#scli -ha (<HBA Instance> <HBA WWPN>) <Alias>

To delete the current alias of the selected HBA:

#scli -ha (<HBA Instance> <HBA WWPN>) delete

To view the current alias of the selected HBA:

# scli -ha (<HBA Instance> <HBA WWPN>) view ?
