Configure global login information for intranet site
access
1. In the BlackBerry Administration Service, on the Servers and components menu, expand BlackBerry solution
topology > BlackBerry Domain > Component view.
2. Click MDS Connection Service.
3. On the HTTP tab, click Edit component.
4. In the Protocol service information section, in the Authentication support enabled drop-down list, click Yes.
5. In the Name section, type a global name, and type the web address of the intranet site in the Service URL section.
6. In the Settings section, type a user name and password.
7. Click Save all.

Specify the maximum amount of data that a
BlackBerry MDS Connection Service can send to
BlackBerry devices
1. In the BlackBerry Administration Service, on the Servers and components menu, expand BlackBerry Solution
topology > BlackBerry Domain > Component view > MDS Connection Service.
2. Click the instance that you want to change.
3. Click Edit instance.
4. On the General tab, in the Flow control section, in the Maximum data amount permitted per connection field, type a
number, in KB.
