Laser Safety
This printer complies with the performance standards set the by U.S. Food and Drug Administration for a Class 1 Laser Product. This means that the printer belongs to a class of laser products that does not produce hazardous laser radiation in a customer access area. This classification was accomplished by providing the necessary protective housing and scanning safeguards to ensure that laser radiation is inaccessible or within Class 1 limits.

No operator maintenance is required to keep the product in compliance as a Class 1 Laser Product. No adjustments that affect laser operation or power are accessible to the operator.
