Printing Test Prints from the Density Control Panel
This section tells you how to print a test prin t using the density control panel.
You can print test prints in various grid an d lin e patterns to use during
diagnostic procedures. Use the follow i ng procedure to print a test print from
the density control panel.
1. While you hold down the COLOR SELECT push button, press the ENTER
push button 8 times. All the color ligh ts flash and the printer enters the test
pattern selection mode.
2. Use the (–) or (+) push button to choose a test pattern. The light for the test
pattern you selected flashes if the setting is different from the factory
default.
