Status Messages
This chapter describes the various messages that may
appear on your operator panel display.Status messages
give information about the currentstate of the printer.
Attendance messages indicate printer errorsthat y ou must
resolve. Service messages indicate printer failures that may
require servicing.
Note: Fordocumentation pur-
poses,Print and Hold jobs refers
to any of the followingjobs: Con-
fidential Job,Reser vePr int Job,
Repeat Print Job, and Verify
Print Job.
Status Messages The first line (line 1) on the display providesinformation
onthe current state or status of the printer, as shown in the
tables beginning on page 152. However in some cases, a
message is long enough that it requiresboth lines to dis-
playtheentiremessage.
Usually the second line (line 2) on the display provides
additionalinformation aboutprinter status. See Wa rning
Messageson page 158 for moreinformation.
