Synchronizing a Volume
You can replace a failed volume in a mirror. You must then synchronize the new volume to the original mirrored volumes. See the working example: “Replacing a Mirrored Volume,” page 256.
volume mirror sync
You need to define two parameters to synchronize a volume:
SWITCH | PARAMETER | DEFINITION | STATUS | EXAMPLE |
| SOURCE VOLUME | ORIGINAL VOLUME | MANDATORY | Simple3 |
| TO SYNCHRONIZE |
| TO |
-dst
DESTINATION | NEW VOLUME TO | MANDATORY | Simple5 |
VOMUE | ADD TO |
| SYNCHRONINZE |

Example:
The volume Simple3 is synchronized to the volume Simple5.
