If you are working in

aV-Switch cluster, the disk must be

removed on both V- Switches.

Removing a Storage Device

You can remove a disk from the V-Switch database. The disk must be defined as missing to remove it.

storage remove

You need to define one parameter to remove a disk:

SWITCH	PARAMETER	DEFINITION	STATUS	EXAMPLE
		ALIAS OF STORAGE	MANDATORY
-s	STORAGE			Stor_1
		TO REMOVE

Example:

Disk named Stor_1 is removed from the V-Switch database.

storage remove –s Stor_1

If you are working in

aV-Switch cluster, the subdisk must be renamed on both V- Switches.

Renaming a Subdisk

After creating a subdisk you can rename it. Renaming the subdisk will have no effect on the volume hierarchy built on the subdisk.

subdisk set

You need to define three parameters to rename a subdisk:
