15 Using the ControlCentre

The Control Centre software on your PC enables you to easily change the WorkCentre’s settings. You can set up the telephone lines, choose fax settings, and create mailboxes. For faster dialing when sending faxes, you can use the Control Centre to set up your Phonebook of One Touch, Speed Dial and Group Dial numbers. You can also get help quickly on a particular task or feature from the Control Centre.

To open the ControlCentre and connect to the WorkCentre:

1Click the Windows Start button.

2Choose Programs>Xerox WorkCentre Pro 665 & 765>Xerox ControlCentre.

The ControlCentre displays.

3From the toolbar, click the Connect button.

4In the Select Device window, double-click Local.

5Select Xerox WC Pro 665/765.

6Click the Connect button.

The WorkCentre updates the ControlCentre with its current settings.
