7The CMS administrator assigns the alert numbers to any of the splits or line groups for which thresholds are set and for which visual alerts are to light Up when the thresholds are met or exceeded.

NOTE: If all external alert wiring and administration procedures are complete, alerts may be assigned to specific exceptions (from the Exception Setting screen) while CMS is managing calls.
