Opcode

PALcode Function

The 26-bit PALcode function field specifies the operation. The source and destination oper- ands for PALcode instructions are supplied in fixed registers that are specified in the individual instruction descriptions.

An opcode of zero and a PALcode function of zero specify the HALT instruction.
