4.8 Memory Format Floating-Point Instructions

The instructions in this section move data between the floating-point registers and memory. They use the Memory instruction format. They do not interpret the bits moved in any way; spe- cifically, they do not trap on non-finite values.

The instructions are summarized in Table 4–14.
