2.7.1 Connecting to the PBX

One jack of the VPS can be connected to 1 jack of the PBX. Use a 4-conductor cable for connection with KX-TD systems that use DPT Integration. Use a 2-conductor (T and R) cable for connection to all other PBXs.

2.7.2Opening the Ferrite Core

Insert your finger into the opening of the ferrite core and open it as shown below:

2.7.3 Modular Plug Connection

Insert the modular plug of the telephone cord into the modular jack on the port card. Guide the telephone cord through the ferrite core. Close the ferrite core.
