ip routing-mode (Interface context)

Use the ip routing-modecommand to set the IP routing mode of the interface. The IP address used in Avaya MultiService Network Manager is the primary management interface IP address. Only one interface can be in RT_PRIMARY_MGMT mode. By default, the first IP address defined is used as the primary interface.

Note: This command is executed from the Serial, Loopback, Fast Ethernet, and FabricFastEthernet interfaces.

Syntax

ip routing-mode <mode>

Parameters

mode RT_PRIMARY_MGMT mode. In RT-MGMT mode, the interface functions as a routing interface. In RT_PRIMARY_MGMT mode, the interface functions as both a routing interface and a primary management interface.

Syntax

ip routing-mode<rt_primary_mgmt>

Example

X330WAN-2DS1-1(configure)#ip routing-mode RT_PRIMARY_MGMT

ip vrrp (Interface context)

Use the ip vrrp command to create a virtual router on the interface. The no form of this command deletes a virtual router.

Note: This command is executed from the Fast Ethernet and FabricFastEthernet interfaces.

Syntax

[no] ip vrrp <vr-id>

Parameters

vr-idVirtual Router ID, an integer from 1 to 255.
