Chapter 6 X330WAN CLI Commands

Field

Description

Received

The amount of broadcasts received. This value advances only

broadcasts

for Ethernet interfaces.

Received giants

Displays the number of packets discarded due to them

exceeding the maximum packets size.

Received

Displays the number of packets received on the interface that

unknown

were discarded due to them using an unknown or unsupported

protocols

protocol.

Input errors

The total number of errors for packets received. Includes a sum

of the following errors.

CRC

The Cyclic Redundancy Checksum. This usually indicates

transmission problems on the data link.

Abort

An illegal sequence of 1 bit was detected on a Serial interface.

This usually indicates a clocking problem.

Packets output

The total number of messages transmitted.

Bytes output

The total number of bytes transmitted, including data and MAC

encapsulation packets.

Output errors

The total number of errors that prevented packets from being

transmitted.

Collisions

Displays the number of retransmitted messages due to an

Ethernet collision (non-Ethernet ports=0).

Interface resets

The number of DTR and RTS resets (down-up fluctuation) due

to an inoperable Serial line, or when the USP interface is

administratively brought up again (USP interfaces only).

Carrier transitions

The number of times the carrier detect signal state changes on a

Serial interface.

Signal status

DCD, DSR, DTR, RTS, and CTS signal status (X330W-2USP

only).
