2. Use the numeric buttons to dial the other party's fax number.

JIf you must ®rst dial a digit to get an outside line (e.g. º9º), press the (REDIAL)/PAUSE button to add a pause after that digit, as shown in the example above.
3.Press START/COPY.
JThe MultiPASS C50 then begins scanning the document into memory, and dials the number:

The display continues to show these displays while the fax is sending.
JWhen the MultiPASS C50 ®nishes sending the fax, the display shows the TRANSMITTING OK message:
TRANSMITTING OK
JThe transaction number (TX/RX NO.) is a unique number the MultiPASS C50 assigns to the document you are sending or receiving, and is used to identify the document in transaction reports.
JIf an error occurs during sending, the MultiPASS C50 will print out an error report. If this happens, try sending the fax again. See ºFaxing Problemsº on page
