Replacing the BJ Cartridge
When replacing BJ cartridges, always follow the precautions and cartridge selection guidelines given in ºGuidelines for Using and Maintaining BJ Cartridgesº on page
Replace the BJ print cartridge as follows.
1. Make sure the MultiPASS C50 is plugged in.
CARTRIDGE | 2. Press CARTRIDGE. |
J The cartridge holder moves to the centre of the unit.
3. Open the printer cover by grasping the document guides and lifting.

JDo not try to move the cartridge holder manually or you may damage the
MultiPASS C50.
JThe MultiPASS C50 includes an automatic protection feature that helps keep it from overheating. If the cartridge holder does not move and the unit beeps several times, unplug the MultiPASS C50 and let it cool for several minutes.
When it has cooled, plug it in again, and press the CARTRIDGE button to move the cartridge holder.
