5.7 - Horizontal StreaksPROBLEM
There are black lines running horizontally across the paper. THE PRINTER DISPLAYS
NO ERROR MESSAGE.
• MCU PWB (RRP 9.123)
• Controller PWB (RRP 9.129)
• LVPS (RRP 9.119)
• ROS Assembly (RRP 9.47)

XEROGRAPHIC INSPECTION
1. Generate a test print and slide the Fuser Assembly out of the
printer just before the sheet of paper enters the Fuser.
2. Remove the Xerographic Cartridge (RRP 9.48).
3. Inspect the image on the Drum.
Is there a normal test print image, without any horizontal
streaks, visible on the drum?
Go to step 2 Go to step 6

IBT INSPECTION
Inspect the image on the su rface of the IBT?

streaks, visible on the surface of the IBT?

2ND TRANSFER INSPECTION
1. Generate a test print and slide the Fuser Assembly out of the
printer just before the sheet of paper enters the Fuser.
2. Inspect the image on the sheet of paper just before the paper
enter the Fuser.
Is there a normal test print image, without any horizontal
streaks, visible on the sheet of paper?

FUSER INSPECTION
1. Generate a test print and slide the Fuser Assembly out of the
printer just as the sheet of paper exits the Fuser.
2. Inspect the image on the sheet of paper just after the paper exits
the Fuser.
Is there a normal test print image on the sheet of paper before
entering the Fuser but the i mage has visible horiz ontal streaks
after it exits the Fus er?
