Primary FIPS: Error Messages

The OPC Drum installed is not new.

Logic control on the MCU PWB detected that the installed OPC Drum is not new.

SUSPECT COMPONENTS

The following components are associated with this specific prob-

lem. One or more of these components may have failed partially or

completely. If you cannot isolate the problem using this FIP,

replace each component listed below, one at a time, until the prob-

lem disappears.

• Wiring and connectors linking the components

1Replace the OPC Drum (RRP 9.48) with a Cartridge that is recom-

mended for use with this printer.

2MCU PWB INSPECTION

1. Switch off the printer.

2. Follow RRP 9.123 to access the M CU PWB.

3. Disconnect P/J 16 from th e MCU PWB.

4. Reconnect P/J 16 to the MCU P WB.

5. Switch on the printer.
