Removal and Replacement Procedures
RRP 9.94 Oil Cam Assembly (PL9.3.22)Removal
1. Remove the Oil Cam Solenoid (RRP 9.93).
2. Gently pry up and release the two latc hes on the top of the Fuser Tray Lever, and also release the two
latches, one on either end of the Tray Lever, and remove the Lever.
3. Remove the E ring securing the front of the Oil Cam Assembly to the Fuser Tray.
4. Slide the front bear forward and swing the front of the Oil Cam Ass embly out of the channel in the
Fuser Tray.
5. Push the Exchange Bracket awa y from the rear of the Oil Cam Assembly as you continue pulling the
front of the Oil Cam Assembly away from the Tray.
The rear of the Assembly pops out of the Bracket.
6. Remove the Oil Cam Assembly.
Replacement
1. Insert the rear of the Oil Cam Ass embly into the hole in the Exchange Bracket.
2. Push down on the Oil Lin k to move it out of the way as you swing the front end of the Oil Cam Assem-
bly into the channel in the Fuser Tray.
3. When the Oil Cam Solenoid is in p lace in the channel slide the front and rear bearings into the front
and rear bearing notches.
4. Use an E ring to secure th e front of the Oil Cam Assembly to the Fuser Tray.
5. Position the Fuser Tray lever so the two latches on the Top of the Lever line up with the two catches on
the top of the Fuser Tray.
6. Push the Fuser Lever o nto the Fuser Tray.
The four latches snap into place.
7. Reinstall the Oil Cam Solenoi d (RRP 9.93).
