To connect a printer within 50 ft. (15.2 m), follow the steps below. Refer to Figure 5-5.

1Plug the short end of a Z200A EMI cord into the SMDR jack on the control unit.

2Plug the other end of the Z200A EMI cord into a 355AF or 355A adapter.

3Plug the female end of the adapter into the 25-pin male connector on the printer’s interface cable, or into the serial port on the printer.

4Set the appropriate printer options for SMDR.
