varname=
To set the variable VARNAME to varvalue, use the varname= command. Note that the syntax varname=
sets the variable to a NULL string.
varname=value
Syntax Description
Defaults This command has no default settings.
Command Types ROM monitor command.
Command Modes Normal.
Usage Guidelines Do not put a space before or after the equal (=) sign. If there are spaces, you must place the value in
quotes. Spell out variable names in uppercase letters to make them conspicuous.
Examples This example shows how to assign a variable name to a value:
rommon 1 > s=set
rommon 2 > s
PS1=rommon ! >
BOOT=
?=0
